In the last two decades, technology has been redefining the economies across the globe. LEAD president Toks Bakare, discusses recent innovations in educational technology in Africa.

This new technological revolution has been highlighted mostly in developed nations through the integration of technology in every major industry. What has not been making headlines, however, is the role that technology is playing on the African continent in industries like trading, education, healthcare, transportation, and banking. It is for this reason that the Harvard Africa Business and Investment Club (HABIC) is hosting the Tech in Africa Forum. Guest speakers have had first-hand experience with the role that tech is playing on the continent and share their insights with us. We discuss the work that is being done in different industries and the potential of tech in Africa in the next decade.

Saturday, November 9th from 3:30 pm - 6 pm, at the Center for African Studies. ORGANIZER: Harvard Africa Business and Investment Club
